Access Your Information
You can request a copy of all the personal information we have about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within 30 days. There's no charge for reasonable requests, though we might charge a small fee for extensive or repeated requests.
Correct Inaccurate Information
Spotted an error in your profile or account details? You can update most information directly through your account settings. For anything else, contact us and we'll fix it promptly.
Delete Your Information
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data. We'll do so within 30 days, though we might need to keep some information for legal compliance—tax records, for example, or records of transactions. We'll tell you what we need to keep and why.
Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw your consent for us to use your information at any time. Keep in mind this might mean we can't provide certain services anymore. You can't withdraw consent for information we need to process for legal reasons or to fulfill a contract.

What You Can Do
Use a strong, unique password for your Yzxem Bylox account. Enable two-factor authentication if you're concerned about security. Don't share your login credentials. Log out on shared devices.
No system is perfectly secure—if we experience a data breach that affects you, we'll notify you promptly and explain what happened, what was compromised, and what we're doing about it.
Data Retention
We don't keep your information forever. Here's our approach to how long we hold onto different types of data.
Active accounts: We keep your information as long as your account is active. This includes learning progress, preferences, and account details.
Inactive accounts: If you haven't logged in for 36 months, we'll send you a reminder. After 48 months of inactivity, we'll delete your account and most associated data.
Financial records: Canadian tax law requires us to keep transaction records for seven years. After that, they're deleted.
Support communications: We keep support emails and chat logs for two years to help resolve any ongoing issues and improve our service.
Analytics data: Aggregated, anonymized usage data is kept indefinitely since it can't be traced back to you.
International Data Transfers
Our servers are located in Canada, and we primarily work with Canadian service providers. However, some of our tools and services—like email platforms or payment processors—might store data outside Canada.
When your information leaves Canada, we ensure it's protected by appropriate safeguards. This might include standard contractual clauses, privacy certifications, or other mechanisms approved under PIPEDA.
If you're accessing our platform from outside Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in Canada under Canadian privacy laws, which may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Children's Privacy
Yzxem Bylox is designed for adult learners interested in investment terminology. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age.
If we discover we've inadvertently collected information from someone under 16, we'll delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe we might have information about their child should contact us right away.
